Fight Network breaks through in Belgium

TORONTO – Fight Network continued its expansion into international markets, announcing Tuesday that it will launch in Belgium on Telenet in October. The combat sports channel, launched in Turkey on D-Smart Channel in March, said Belgium is the fifth country in which it has launched this year. “We are excited about being welcomed into the Telenet family,” said Leonard Asper, CEO of Fight Network’s parent company Anthem Media Group, in a release. “This new relationship with a company that is part of the Liberty Global group of cable systems is a strong statement attesting to the quality of the channel.”...
