Feds re-open CBC CEO job posting

OTTAWA – It looks as though Hubert Lacroix will remain CEO of CBC for a while longer as the federal government has re-opened the job posting.Lacroix’s official term came to an end on December 31st, but the government announced on December 19th (when five new members of the CBC board of directors were officially appointed), that Lacroix would stay on past the end of the year until a replacement was announced.It was thought the federal government had winnowed down its choices and was very close to a decision, but instead decided to re-list it.
