TORONTO – The federal government announced today it will invest over $2.7 million in AccessNow, an online platform which crowdsources information on public transit and venues, such as restaurants and businesses, that are accessible to persons with disabilities.The government's investment will help AccessNow expand the reach of its platform in Canada, allowing people to share information—in both of Canada's official languages—about the accessibility features of public spaces through an interactive map.
