Fédération des télévisions communautaires autonomes du Québec celebrates 20 years

VICTORIAVILLE, QC - Members of the Fédération des télévisions communautaires autonomes du Québec (Federation of Community Television in Quebec) marked the organization’s 20th anniversary at a weekend gathering in Nicolet.Under the theme of "Autonomous Community Television, rooted in our history, looking to the future”, 55 delegates, representing 30 of the 41 members, elected a new Board of Directors which will be led by Sylvain Racine of the Télévision régionale des Moulins.The Federation also discussed the establishment of a digital innovation laboratory as part of the Québec Digital Cultural Plan and held its first recognition awards ceremony on Saturday evening.
