TORONTO – Family Channel is gearing up for its ninth annual Bullying Awareness Week scheduled for November 14 – 20, 2011.
This year’s campaign, named What’s Up, Stand UP!, will focus on the issue of bullying through a week of special programming, on-line chats with Family stars and trained counsellors.
Family will also take the message of bullying prevention into Canadian schools with three rallies. Featuring Family stars and a discussion led by the national organization PREVNet, students can enter to win a rally at their school by submitting a report (text, video or audio) here explaining how they fight back against bullying in their community. The contest runs until 5:00 pm ET on October 7.
