Multicultural radio station Fairchild Radio has launched a promotion campaign on radio, TV and print to promote its new logo and new app. The radio chain, operates a total of five FM and AM channels in Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary, is adopting a red, white and black logo to "project a younger and more energetic image." To coincide with the new look, the station is introducing a brand new app for iPhone and android phones to better serve its listeners.
Fairchild Radio’s app, which is free for download, offers 24-hour live audio, news updates, program schedules, show biz gossips, videos, links to social media such as facebook and Weibo, plus ad-hoc interactive games such as polling and guessing games. The Vancouver version of the app is now active with the Toronto and Calgary versions to follow next. The app can be downloaded from Apple’s App Store and Google Play Store by searching “Fairchild Radio.”

Fairchild Radio has also redesigned its websites 1470.com and fm961.com to include more news and useful information. CD critics, movie reviews, cooking recipes as well as comprehensive information of the radio station are presented in a new user-friendly design.
