Fairchild Radio kicks off winter clothing drive


VANCOUVER – Fairchild Radio collected 1,212 lbs. of used clothing and blankets for the Salvation Army last Saturday during the first day of its annual ‘Winter Warm Wave Clothing Drive’.Staffed by eight finalists of a talent competition for children, the volunteers greeted hundreds of donors at the clothing donation booth set up in Richmond, BC.  A second donation day is scheduled for December 18.
