VANCOUVER – Multicultural radio network Fairchild Radio Group shone the spotlight on autism spectrum disorders during its recent Autism Awareness Week.
From September 17 – 24, Fairchild Radio's stations in Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto featured programming including interactive forums with medical and psychological experts as well as interviews with parents of autistic children. A charity sale was also organized in Vancouver to raise fund for Autism Speaks Canada.
To commemorate the special event, DJs and Fairchild Radio staff wore blue for a day.
