Execulink expands 1 Gbps Internet to wholesale areas

WOODSTOCK, Ont. — Independent southern Ontario telecom provider and ISP Execulink Telecom announced Wednesday it has extended its 1Gbps Internet service to several of its wholesale service areas.

Previously, Execulink’s 1 Gbps Internet service was available only over its own fibre network, but now the telecom company is including many of its wholesale cable Internet areas in the 1 Gbps offering, says the news release.

“Connection is the universal theme right now,” says Ian Stevens, president and CEO of Execulink Telecom, in the release. “Our communities depend on fast, reliable Internet to stay connected to friends and family, work and learn from home, and stay entertained. Providing our customers with the connectivity they need has always been our goal and is something we’re focusing on now more than ever.”

With the 1 Gbps residential Internet service, everyone in the family can stay connected on multiple devices and download up to 25 songs in one second, and stream a TV show in five seconds and an entire HD movie in 25 seconds — just some of the examples provided by Execulink in its news release.

The company’s 1 Gbps service is priced at $100/month with no data caps.
