Execulink announces 2021 scholarship recipients

WOODSTOCK, Ont. — Independent telecom provider and ISP Execulink Telecom announced today it has awarded $500 scholarships to three deserving students from Ontario to help them with their post-secondary education.

This year’s scholarship recipients are Sara Stubbe (above, left) of Norwich, Megan Foster (centre) of London, and Hailey Marsh (right) of the Town of Plympton-Wyoming. Each student will be attending college or university this fall.

The recipients were selected based on their community involvement and strong academic standing, with particular focus on mathematics and sciences, says a press release.

“At Execulink, we are committed to the personal development of youth in our local communities. We want to help students transition from high school to post-secondary learning with these scholarships,” said Ian Stevens, president and CEO of Execulink Telecom, in the release.

“We are extremely proud to help local students achieve their educational goals as they become the next generation of leaders in STEM.”

Andrea Atkinson, vice-president of customer experience at Execulink Telecom, added: “Pursuing higher education is an adventure and we commend these young women for continuing to chase their dreams.”

The Execulink Scholarship program provides one-time $500 scholarships to three graduating high school students each year. Applications for 2022 will open next summer.
