TORONTO – Evanov Communications announced Wednesday the promotion and appointment of Allison Worone to vice-president and general counsel, effective immediately.
Worone previously held the position of general counsel at the independent radio broadcasting company.
“Since she joined Evanov Communications in 2018, Allison has become a key pillar of our organization through her hard work, loyalty, and diligence,” Evanov’s president and CEO, Paul Evanov, said in a press release announcing Worone’s promotion.
“The company and colleagues have come to rely on her for guidance, advice, and leadership on all matters within our legal and business areas,” he added.
Prior to joining Evanov, Worone worked as an associate lawyer at two prominent law firms in Toronto, according to her current bio on Evanov’s website.
She holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Political Science from Carleton University.
