Estevan, Weyburn next for SaskTel’s infiNET network

REGINA - SaskTel has targeted the residential areas of Estevan and Weyburn as next in line to receive its fibre optic network infiNET.infiNET is being deployed through SaskTel’s Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) Program, a $670 million investment to deploy fibre optics directly to homes and upgrade the broadband network in Saskatoon, Regina, Moose Jaw, Weyburn, Estevan, Swift Current, Yorkton, North Battleford and Prince Albert, the nine largest urban centers in the province.Once connected, infiNET will allow customers to experience Internet speeds of up to 260 Mbps for downloading and 60 Mbps for uploading, plus enable the company's Max television customers...
