Ericsson wraps up acquisition of BelAir Networks

TORONTO - Ericsson has completed its purchase of Ottawa-based Wi-Fi company BelAir Networks. The Swedish company confirmed that BelAir Networks' 120 employees will be integrated into its business unit Networks over the coming months, but will work under the Ericsson brand effective immediately. Monday's closing follows an announcement in February that Ericsson had entered into an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in BelAir Networks.  Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
