Ericsson taps Quebec for its third Global ICT Centre

MONTREAL - Ericsson officially unveiled its new Global Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Center in Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC on Friday, designed to spur development of the next generation of cloud infrastructure and services.The site, which covers 20,000 square meters, is the third Ericsson Global ICT Center, following the opening of the Global ICT Centers in Linköping, Sweden in September 2014, and Rosersberg, Sweden in January 2016.The company said that the location enables more than 20,000 R&D engineers globally to accelerate innovation cycles, reduce costs and better support its customers.
