Ericsson suspends business in Russia indefinitely

STOCKHOLM — Swedish telecom giant Ericsson announced today it is suspending its business with customers in Russia indefinitely “in light of recent events and of European Union sanctions,” says a company press release. Ericsson had already suspended all deliveries to customers in Russia as of late February, the same month that country invaded Ukraine. “Ericsson is engaging with customers and partners regarding the indefinite suspension of the affected business.
