Ericsson launches Intelligent Automation Platform for mobile networks

STOCKHOLM — Ericsson announced today the launch of its Intelligent Automation Platform, “a service management and orchestration product which enables any mobile network to be intelligently automated,” according to a press release. The new platform automates the radio access network (RAN) using artificial intelligence (AI) and radio network applications (rApps) with different functionalities, explains the release.
