EDMONTON — The Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League will continue to be played on Corus-owned radio station 630 CHED, after the two parties came to an agreement to extend their broadcast agreement.
Each broadcast will have a 90-minute pre-game show and a 90-minute post-game show hosted by Brenden Escott, according to a Wednesday press release.
“The Elks are an integral part of the sports scene in Edmonton,” said John Vos, regional program director at Corus Radio. “With the Elks’ deep ties to the community, our continued broadcast partnership is a natural fit for 630 CHED.”
The play-by-play will be done by Morley Scott, with analysis by Dave Campbell.
The Elks open their regular season away in Vancouver versus the B.C. Lions on June 11 and will play their home opener on June 18.
