Eastlink Wireless coming to northern Ontario in June

HALIFAX – Eastlink will roll out wireless service in northern Ontario starting June 1.Eastlink Wireless is currently available in most of Nova Scotia and PEI. Mobile Syrup reported this week that Eastlink’s new service will go live in Timmins on June 1 followed by Sudbury on June 9, using spectrum that the company purchased in the 700MHz auction in 2014.An Eastlink official confirmed to Cartt.ca on Friday that the company is launching its wireless service in Ontario in the near future.
