EastLink seeking employees


HALIFAX – Seeking qualified candidates to fill positions in customer care, marketing, finance, human resources, and information technology, EastLink will host a career fair on Tuesday, March 20th in the Cornwallis Room at the World Trade and Convention Centre from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

“The Career Fair will provide an excellent opportunity for people to learn more about the variety of positions available with EastLink. We have enjoyed a tremendous response to these events in the past,” said Donald Rankin, the company’s human resources director. EastLink last hosted a Career Fair in March 2006.

“EastLink is continuing to experience significant growth within the telecommunications and entertainment industry, we offer stable, and secure employment to hundreds of Maritimers," he added.

Representatives from EastLink will be on-site to meet with potential candidates and discuss the types of positions that are available. Applicants will then have the opportunity to apply for positions that best suit their training, experience, and career goals. There are a number of full and part time positions available.

“Our goal is to hire people who can embrace our customer service culture, adapt to changes in technology and thrive in an industry that is constantly changing,” said Rankin. “We also work to ensure our employees represent the range of diversity and cultures found throughout this region.”
