Duffy-McLean jumps to Alliance Atlantis, Fuoco promoted


TORONTO – Alliance Atlantis yesterday announced the appointment of Elizabeth Duffy-MacLean to the position of vice-president, public and regulatory affairs.

Duffy-MacLean brings more than 15 years experience in the private sector in specialty and conventional broadcast regulation and has provided her expertise to a number of companies including NetStar, CTV and most recently as group vice-president, regulatory affairs and policy strategy at Bell GlobeMedia.

She has also been an active board member of industry organizations including the Canadian Association of Broadcasters and Canadian Women in Communications.

As well, the company announced Chris Fuoco, has been promoted to the position of vice president, affiliate marketing for Alliance Atlantis Communications.

Fuoco joined Alliance Atlantis in May 2003 as director of affiliate marketing. In this role, he was responsible for working directly with cable and satellite companies to develop co-marketing programs for Alliance Atlantis’ 13 specialty networks.

Fuoco has extensive experience in the television distribution business, having previously served as the director of core programs for Bell ExpressVu. In addition, he also serves as the co-president and treasurer for the Canadian Chapter of the Cable Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM).
