Disney+ tops 100 million paid subscribers

BURBANK, Calif. — Having launched only 16 months ago, Disney+ has already surpassed 100 million global paid subscribers, The Walt Disney Company’s CEO, Bob Chapek, announced today during the company’s virtual annual shareholder meeting. Disney+ launched in the United States on November 12, 2019, and has rolled out rapidly across Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Latin America and, most recently, Singapore.
