Disney+ announces the movies, TV series to be available through Star for Canadian subscribers

Homeland, Deadpool and The Shape of Water headline list of titles TORONTO – As announced in December, Disney+ will unveil Star, its new general entertainment brand, inside the Disney+ app this February 23 – and today it announced the slate of content to be available at launch. Star will launch over 150 TV series and more than 500 movies at launch, increasing to nearly 800 by the end of 2021 which will include more exclusive Star Original content, the company said in a Thursday announcement.
