Dish Network lets customers point and click on-screen to donate to Red Cross

ENGLEWOOD, CO – Dish Network has dedicated two of its on-demand channels to solicit customer donations for disaster relief assistance in the United States and Japan.From now through July 31, 2011, Dish Network customers can visit channels 1 or 501 and select either the channels labeled “Donate Storm Relief” or “Donate to Japan Here” before following the on-screen instructions to make a $5 donation, which will then be added to their subsequent monthly bill.
