Digital transition won't impact our customers, says Videotron

MONTREAL – Videotron became the first BDU to publicly assure their customers that they will not be adversely impacted by the digital transition on August 31, 2011.“Videotron will convert incoming digital signals from Canadian local stations to analogue signals for its customers, just as it has been doing with American signals since the U.S. made the switchover to digital in 2009”, reads a statement issued by the company. “Therefore, subscribers to Videotron’s cable television services, digital or analogue, will continue receiving their television channels as usual.”www.videotron.com
