Digital antennas, converter sales through the roof, says US company

SCRANTON, PA – Calling cable and satellite “a luxury, not a necessity”, Home Stations Installations says that the digital TV converter box and digital antenna business is booming.

“It’s a great feeling knowing I can help free people from a monthly bill so they can put that savings towards their family", said president and CEO Gary Zurenda, in the statement.

Located in West Pittston, Pennsylvania, the company sells and installs converter boxes and antennas which enable customers to receive over the air digital and HD signals from US broadcasters. It recently opened a new call center and says that it is putting its 10,000 installers nationwide to work "immediately”.

"We can easily install thousands of homes per week," said Colleen Daly, executive director. "I want my free DTV; that is what I hear most. It is important that the poor, shut-ins, and misfortunate have at least one television working in case of a crisis because this is the emergency frequency.”
