DHX Media signs deals with Latin American networks

HALIFAX – Children’s entertainment company DHX Media has signed key broadcast, digital and home entertainment deals in Latin America. Global Movie PTE Ltd. has licensed the Latin American digital SVOD (“subscription video on demand”) rights to a number of DHX Media children’s series, including Arthur, Madeline and Are you Afraid of the Dark. Global Movie provides streaming broadcasting services and films and television via a video-on-demand service. In a separate deal, SBP Worldwide S.A. has picked up home entertainment (DVD and Blu-ray) rights to season five of Caillou and Caillou’s Holiday Movie for South America.
