TORONTO – Devine Entertainment Corporation on Wednesday announced an expansion of its multi-year distribution agreement with Carrere Group, which will market Devine’s film and TV series in France and other French-speaking territories, and its family television series in all territories outside of North America worldwide.
The move is a “a key step in Devine’s initiatives to unlock substantial additional revenue potential of the company’s already revenue-positive library of film and television programs,” the company stated in a media release.
Carrere will market Devine’s new series, Across the River to Motor City and other titles its proprietary film library at the Oct. 8-12 MIPCOM international television market, in Cannes, France.
Under the distribution agreement, Carrere will also continue to sell Devine’s award-winning 18-film library of historical family films, including The Artists’ Specials, The
Inventors’ Specials and The Composers’ Specials.

Carrere has commenced initial sales of Devine’s titles with new broadcast licenses in Russia, Poland, Ukraine and the Middle East, according to Devine. In addition, Carrere helped closed license fees from Paris-based broadcaster France 5.
