Descriptive Video opens Toronto shop

TORONTO - Descriptive Video Works is expanding to Toronto, and has hired former CHUM executive Ellen Baine to head up the new location. The described video provider adds audio tracks to television productions for the visually impaired. They also have a production facility in Vancouver. "We're delighted to have Ellen on board as we celebrate five years of service within the industry," said Diane Johnson, president of Descriptive Video Works. "Our team is stronger than ever as we bring an exceptional breadth and depth of broadcast industry experience to every project."
