DELTA, B.C. – Delta/Coast Cable launched World Fishing Network and soccer channel GOLTV this week
WFN is the nation’s first and only 24/7 fishing network while GOLTV airs more than 1,500 games annually. Both are owned by Insight Sports.
Delta Cable has been providing cable services to the communities of Ladner, Tsawwassen and North Delta in British Columbia since 1966 and Coast Cable has been providing cable services to the communities on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia since 1970. The acquisition of the cable company by Persona Communications announced earlier this year is still pending.
Soccer is a fast growing sport in our community, so GOLTV will be very well received. In terms of WFN, need I say more when fishing is probably the biggest participation sport in British Columbia; demand for it should be excessive,” says Chris Rumbold, marketing manager, Delta/Coast Cable.
