WATERLOO — Video and data transport specialist Dejero announced today a $60-million minority recapitalization of the company, led by Toronto private equity firm Vertu Capital. Vertu partnered with Ubicom Ventures, a special-purpose investment fund created in partnership with Dejero management, to complete the transaction. Dejero will be the first investment for Vertu’s inaugural fund, Vertu Partners Fund I. Headquartered in Waterloo, Ont., Dejero was founded by Bogdan Frusina in 2008 and is led by CEO Bruce Anderson.
