Dedicated Canadian sports betting network Parleh TV to launch this month

TORONTO – Parleh Media Group, the independent Canadian content and production company that started the sports betting news site The Parleh in June this year, announced today it will launch Parleh TV, a free online sports betting network, on Oct. 12.

“From NFL over/unders and weekly CFL winners to dark-horse picks for the Stanley Cup, The Parleh has taken the unknown out of sports betting and is making it fun and entertaining for the everyday sports fan,” said Kevin Kennedy, president and executive producer of Parleh Media Group, in a press release.

“Our social accounts are already a must follow, and now with Parleh TV we can be there for Canadians 24/7 to help them get through all the clutter and data so they can be informed and entertained before they make a casual bet.”

Parleh TV is launching in partnership with Bitcentral, a media software solutions company whose broadcast and production workflow tool Fuel will power the channel, which will offer “a full slate of sports betting shows and segments,” the press release says.

This will include Puck Talks, a hockey betting show that “will debut with insights and on-the-street segments for the seven Canadian NHL teams.”

Parleh TV will also be a destination for brands that want to connect with sports fans as it will feature “integrated advertising and sponsorship opportunities allowing for impactful branded content,” according to the press release.

ThePostGame, which works with sports properties including the Canadian Premier League and NBC Sports, manages such commercial opportunities for Parleh Media Group.

In the coming months, Parleh Media Group will launch new shows as well as segment formats.

The press release also notes announcements regarding “distribution of the channel beyond the Parleh TV website will be communicated as agreements are made with partners.”
