TORONTO – One lucky CTAM Canada member will have the opportunity to attend CTAM National’s prestigious executive management program at the Harvard Business School (dubbed CTAM U).
The program is designed for senior executives who are looking to improve their strategic and leadership skills and will take place this year from June 1 to 6. Any CTAM Canada Chapter member may apply, but all applicants must:
* Complete the registration form available by clicking here.
* Write a 400 word essay on the following topic: "Over the top video: threat or opportunity?"
* Provide a letter of support from their company
One change for CTAM U 2008 is that applicants have been asked to write a brief essay about “Over-the-top Video: threat or opportunity?” This essay will demonstrate the applicants’ writing and analytical skills, and focus them on one of the key issues addressing our industry – the fact that video is now available directly to users “over-the-top” by way of the Internet, i.e. outside traditional video delivery systems.
The application deadline has been extended to Friday, March 14th, 2008 and the selected candidate will be notified on Friday, March 21st
According to past attendees, this demanding program will invigorate your career, introduce you to 75 other industry leaders, and expose you to top Harvard Business School professors and key industry luminaries. Participants are immersed in an intensive and intimate week-long learning program. The stimulating curriculum is built around detailed case studies, covering various management disciplines, that are used to challenge the minds of the participants.
CTAM Canada will pay for the candidate’s tuition, meals, books, accommodation and materials. The only thing the candidate will be responsible for is travel arrangements to Boston and actively participating in the program.
