TORONTO – Sports streaming service DAZN Canada is launching a new live look-in show around its coverage of the 2018/2019 UEFA Champions League Soccer season.

Hosted by veteran soccer anchor Colin Murray, Box to Box is a live program that will guide viewers through all six concurrent UCL games, showing all goals and key actions as they happen.

As the exclusive rights holder for the UCL and UEFA Europa League in Canada for the next three years, DAZN Canada will also offer each UCL game live and on-demand, as well as pre- and post-match coverage.

“We’re thrilled to give a soccer viewing experience at a level that Canadian fans have never experienced before,” said DAZN’s SVP revenue Joseph Markowski, in the news release.  “Our UCL coverage will follow every single game and their actions live and commercial-free, and for the first time ever, there are no limitations on which games fans can watch.”

The 2018-2019 UCL group stage is scheduled to begin on September 18, and 32 teams will compete in the Group Stage to decide the 16 places in the Knockout Stage starting February 12, 2019.

DAZN added that it will offer two games per matchdays in French for the Group Stage as well as matches beyond the Round of 16.
