Dan Aykroyd returns as narrator for Hotel Paranormal season two

TORONTO — Saloon Media, a Blue Ant Studios company, today announced production has started on the second season of Hotel Paranormal and confirmed Emmy Award winner and Oscar-nominated Dan Aykroyd (above) will return as narrator, joining the production in Toronto this spring.

The documentary series (10 episodes x 60 minutes) features dramatic recreations and paranormal expert insights during its spine-tingling tales of such encounters at four-star hotels, highway motels and inns around the world.

Originally commissioned by Blue Ant Media’s T+E channel in Canada, season two of the series is available for licensing in the U.S. and globally by Blue Ant International. The series will be available for pre-sale at Realscreen Summit 2021, which is running as a virtual marketplace this year starting on January 25.

“Everyone enjoys a great ghost story and this new season of Hotel Paranormal delivers some of the most credible and chilling stories you’ll ever hear, with some occurring in my own haunted land of Canada,” said Aykroyd, in a press release.

Filming for season two will take place across Ontario under strict Covid-19 provincial guidelines, says the press release. The series is produced by Saloon Media, with Michael Kot and Betty Orr serving as executive producers. Sarah Zammit is the series producer. Dave Tebby and Simone Stock are directors and Josh Pelham is the director of photography. Overseeing the series for T+E is Sam Linton, head of original content for Blue Ant Media’s Canadians channels.
