CWTA wants feedback on ‘Recycle My Cell’ plan

VANCOUVER - The Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association (CWTA) is asking for public input on stewardship plan for its national cellular phone recycling program ‘Recycle My Cell’.The no-cost-to-consumers program accepts mobile devices that were primarily designed to connect to cellular or paging networks, regardless of brand, model, origin or age. These devices include cellular phones, wireless smart phones, cellular PDAs, pagers, air cards, and accessories.The CWTA has scheduled in-person public consultations in Victoria and Vancouver on August 17 and 18, respectively, and will hold to two additional consultations via Teleconference/WebEx on August 19 and 20, 2009.Click here for more on the...
