CWTA taps Robert Ghiz as new president, CEO

OTTAWA – Former PEI premier Robert Ghiz will take on the role of president and CEO of the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association (CWTA) effective January 1, 2017.Ghiz (pictured) takes over from Bernard Lord who vacated the role earlier this year.  A twice-elected premier of Prince Edward Island, Ghiz has nearly 20 years of experience in government affairs and public policy.  Since leaving politics, he has been serving as a business adviser at Gowling WLG plus is on the board of directors of Ducks Unlimited, the True Patriot Love Foundation and Medavie Blue Cross."Canadians are leading the world in maximizing the...
