CWC issues call for award noms, due November 7


TORONTO – Do you know someone who deserves recognition?  Then don’t miss your chance to submit a nomination for the annual Canadian Women in Communications’ awards.

The awards are prestigious distinctions honouring those who have demonstrated outstanding achievements, leadership and support in the communications industry.  Nominations are due by November 7 at 5 pm ET in the categories of CWC Woman of the Year, CWC Employer Excellence, and CWC Leadership Excellence Award.

In other CWC news, Judith Campbell has been named to the position of vice-president, partnerships. Campbell returns to the organization after an almost-three-year hiatus, during which she completed a graduate degree in media production at Ryerson University in Toronto and served as director of member and chapter services for the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Canadian Women in Communications is a national, bilingual organization dedicated to advancing the careers of women who work in the communications field.
