TORONTO – Bell Media announced Wednesday its exclusive broadcast of the 119th Original Santa Claus Parade will air on CTV, CTV.ca and the CTV app on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. ET/PT.
The 90-minute special presentation will be hosted by Melissa Grelo (The Social), Kelsey McEwen (CTV Your Morning) and Tyrone Edwards (Etalk). Virgin Radio Toronto’s Deepa Prashad will report from the parade as it moves along a new route, starting at Christie Pits and making its way through the heart of downtown Toronto.
The special will also feature Grammy award-winning music icon Brenda Lee performing “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”, and holiday greetings from Laurence Leboeuf, star of CTV’s Transplant, Malaika Hennie-Hamadi and Hannan Younis from Crave’s Bria Mack Gets a Life, along with the series’ creator Sasha Leigh Henry, Grammy-winning pop band OneRepublic, Juno-nominated Canadian alternative-pop band Valley, and Swedish pop artist Zara Larsson, among other celebrities.
The official livestream of the parade on Sunday, Nov. 26 will be provided by Bell Media’s CP24 beginning at 12:30 p.m. ET at CP24.com.
