TORONTO – CTV Sci-Fi Channel announced today it will premiere the all-new horror series Chapelwaite on Sundays at 10 p.m ET/PT starting August 22.
The show is executive produced by Academy Award winner Adrien Brody, who also co-stars alongside Emily Hampshire (Schitt’s Creek).
Chapelwaite, a 10-episode series set in the 1850s, is based on Stephen King’s short story Jerusalem’s Lot, and “follows Captain Charles Boone (Adrien Brody) who relocates his family of three children to his ancestral home in Preacher’s Corners, Maine after his wife dies at sea,” a press release reads. “Rebecca Morgan (Hampshire), also returns to the small, seemingly sleepy town with hopes of becoming the family’s governess.”
The show is produced by Epix Studios and is written by Peter Filardi (The Craft) and Jason Filardi (17 Again), who are both also executive producers along with Brody, Donald De Line (Ready Player One), and Burr Steers.
Chapelwaite will also be available to stream on CTV.ca and on the CTV app.
