CTV renames, relaunches Newsnet

TORONTO - CTV’s 24-hour all-news network will take on the new name ‘CTV News Channel’ starting Tuesday. Formerly known as CTV Newsnet, the channel will also unveil a new look featuring “a refreshed graphics package”. “We are very excited about this new chapter,” said Jana Juginovic, director of news and programming, in the press release. “Canadians trust CTV News for the most accurate, up to the minute breaking news and this refreshed look will only enhance our viewers’ experience.” www.ctv.ca
