CTV orders new comedy - Dan for Mayor

TORONTO – Corner Gas co-star Fred Ewanuick has been cast in the new scripted half-hour comedy pilot, called Dan for Mayor, CTV announced Wednesday. Ewanuick (Corner Gas, Robson Arms) plays Dan, a 30-something bartender who lives and works in the fictional city of Wessex, Ontario. He has had the same friends since grade school, his most prized possession is a vintage Ms. Pac-Man game, and his last serious relationship was with a girl who is now engaged to someone else.
