CTV orders 16 more episodes of Children Ruin Everything

Bell Media’s CTV announced Monday it has ordered 16 new episodes of Canadian Screen Award-nominated comedy series Children Ruin Everything from Toronto-based production company New Metric Media. Production on the 16 half-hour episodes began Monday in Toronto and Hamilton, with part one of season four set to air as part of CTV’s 2024/25 broadcast season, according to a Bell Media press release. Created by Emmy Award-winner Kurt Smeaton (Schitt’s Creek), Children Ruin Everything follows parents Astrid (Meaghan Rath, Being Human, Hawaii Five-0) and James (Aaron Abrams, Blindspot, Hannibal) as they struggle to hold onto their pre-kid life while raising their three children — tween Felix, seven-year-old Viv and toddler Morris....
