CTV launches cottage traffic app for Ontario drivers

BARRIE, ON – CTV News is helping some Ontario cottagers beat the traffic this summer with the new CTV News Cottage Traffic App. The app uses the built-in GPS technology on smart phones to offer personalized and timely audio traffic information. Powered by users running the app while they drive, traffic information is automatically updated to other users behind them, as drivers are encouraged to report traffic issues that they encounter.
