TORONTO – While it still can’t simsub with the U.S. broadcaster until the terms of the new trade deal are in place, Bell Media says that this year’s Super Bowl game will be stocked with slick new advertising from big brands, including PepsiCo Canada’s first-ever Super Bowl ad starring homegrown crooner Michael Bublé.
Live from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Super Bowl LIII will feature the AFC champion New England Patriots as they take on the NFC champion Los Angeles Rams. CTV’s programming will kick off at 12 noon ET/9:00 AM PT on Sunday, February 3, with a “super simulcast” of the game beginning at 6:00 PM ET/3:00 PM PT on CTV, CTV2 and TSN.
Then, immediately following the conclusion of CBS programming, TSN duo Jay Onrait and Dan O’Toole will make their conventional network debut in Jay And Dan’s Post-Game Breakdown to recap key moments from both on and off the field, all from their unique and entertaining perspective.
Nissan Canada, the official vehicle of the NFL, is once again an official sponsor of Super Bowl LIII, while Mazda and Subway Canada are also returning. New advertising partners this year include Purplebricks, SkipTheDishes, Maple Leaf Foods, Wealthsimple, L’Oréal, Colgate, and RumChata.
Leading up to the game, Canadian fans can also visit BigGameAds.ca to keep up to date on all of the American Super Bowl ads released in advance of the big game. In addition to the new 2019 ads, the site also features fan-favourite ads from years past.
