CALGARY – CTV Calgary will roll out a new morning news show called CTV Morning Live that will debut October 17 at 5:30 am.
Featuring local broadcast personalities Jefferson Humphreys, Aisling Tomei, Pearl Tsang and Todd Gallant (pictured), the show promises to serve up a blend of news, weather and traffic that is most relevant to Calgarians.
“We’ve assembled a terrific team and with it will launch a fresh, local morning show that gives you everything you need in the morning,” said Kelly Johnston, director of news and public affairs, in Friday’s announcement. “CTV is the network most-connected to Calgarians and, as a result, CTV Morning Live is going to have a strong social media presence. We hope to actually have a coffee and conversation with our viewers, in addition to giving them all the news, weather and traffic they need.”
