CTV brings E! brand back to Canada; will rebrand Star!

TORONTO and LOS ANGELES - E! Entertainment Television will return to Canadian airwaves this month thanks to a partnership between CTV and Comcast International Media Group (CIMG).The companies said Monday that CTV’s Star! channel will be rebranded as the new Canadian E! channel beginning November 29. Dedicated exclusively to all aspects of the entertainment industry, E! will immediately be available in more than 6.2 million Canadian households.“E! is a specialty brand for a specialty service.
