
TORONTO — CTV today unveiled its 2019 holiday programming lineup, featuring new original festive specials and episodes along with new and classic movies.
CTV has two new original specials airing this December, including Jann Arden One Night Only (Dec. 4) and David Foster: Off the Record (Dec.5), as well as back-to-back, holiday-themed episodes of Mary’s Kitchen Crush (Dec.7). Also new this season, CTV will present the Nick Cannon’s Hit Viral Videos – Holidays 2019 special (Dec. 16).
In addition, CTV’s festive schedule includes the three-night holiday spectacular Ellen’s Greatest Night of Giveaways (Dec. 10-12). Also returning to CTV for the holidays is The Marilyn Denis Show’s annual “10 Days of Giveaways”, along with The Social Year in Gossip 2019 (Dec. 19), Etalk: Rewind 2019 (Dec. 23), and Canada’s Walk of Fame Awards (Dec. 15).
Among the classic movies scheduled to air on CTV and CTV2 are The Sound of Music (Dec. 14), It’s a Wonderful Life (Dec. 24), A Christmas Carol (Dec. 24) and Sleepless in Seattle (Dec. 24). New holiday movies include a trio of Hallmark movies: A Rose For Christmas (Dec. 7), A Perfect Christmas (Dec. 22) and Let It Snow (Dec. 23). CTV will also air the all-new Lifetime holiday movie A Twist of Christmas (Dec. 21).
CTV’s festive programming is available on demand on CTV’s Holiday Hub on CTV.ca and the CTV app, with more than 160 hours of holiday programming, as well as recipes, gift guides and more.
