CTS slapped over TV preacher

OTTAWA - Airing Pastor John Hagee’s televised views on homosexuals was a breach of the Canadian Association of Broadcasters (CAB) Code of Ethics, Crossroads Television was told today. The Canadian Broadcast Standards Council said the John Hagee Today show, which aired in September on CITS-TV portrayed “gays and lesbians inaccurately, unfairly and inappropriately.” The CBSC Ontario Regional Panel concluded that the episode contained unduly discriminatory content on the basis of sexual orientation.
