CTAM U Canada course returns for an encore


TORONTO – Back by popular demand, CTAM Canada is offering members a second chance to attend its first Canadian CTAM University Program on strategic pricing and profitability.

The course date is May 10, and the deadline to apply is April 15, 2011. Offered through the Schulich School of Business (Executive Education Centre), part of Toronto’s York University, the course will focus on:

– The theory behind value-based pricing;

– How to use value-based pricing to establish the optimal price for new and existing products and services;

– How to become a more effective competitive pricer; and

– How to make more systematic pricing decisions.

Open to and applicable to both cable and programming marketing professionals, this course is geared towards the marketing manager who is responsible for pricing and promotion and wants to ensure that key pricing decisions generate the desired results – both from market acceptance and profitability.

The course costs $325 per attendee which includes HST, course material and lunch. All applicants must be a CTAM Canada member in good standing, and will be notified of acceptance via email during the week of April 19.
