
TORONTO — Television industry association CTAM Canada today issued a call for applications to fill seven vacancies on its board of directors.
For the 2021 board, six regular board positions and one treasurer position (requiring a CPA or finance background) are to be filled by general election by CTAM Canada members.
To qualify for nomination, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- be an active CTAM Canada member
- be an established professional in the video content industry in Canada
- commit to attending monthly board meetings (in person, by video/phone or by proxy)
- commit to participating on at least one committee, or sit on the board as a member of the executive committee
To submit a nomination for the upcoming election, applicants are asked to email a brief biography, head shot and full contact information to David Legault at dlegault@stingray.com by 5 p.m. ET on November 17. The short bio (150 words maximum) should tell the nominating committee why you would like to serve as a board member and how you will be able to contribute to CTAM Canada.
Applicants’ bios will be attached to their profiles for all CTAM Canada members to read before casting their votes during the election. Voting starts November 19.
